Sliders or French doors that typically lead from a home to the deck
or patio may look great from inside, but from outside they often fall
flat.
That’s because there’s nothing to frame the doors, nothing
to make them more than just a hole in the wall that provides access
between indoors and out. The area around the doors is usually just
a slab of plain siding.
This unique “eyebrow” pergola at left turns that area
from one that begs to be ignored into one that demands attention.
Mounted to the wall, it frames the doors with a casual yet sophisticated
style. |
